Improved Facilities at Hospital in Eastern Cuba |

Havana.- Brigades of skilled workers are remodeling the Lucia Iñiguez Clinical Surgical Hospital in Holguin to improve medical services.
The investment program includes the general repair of the Emergency Ward, which is scheduled for completion soon.
It also entails improving the clinical laboratory and the installation of new equipment.
Other areas to be remodeled are the hematology ward, the doctors' lockers and resting rooms and the patients' bathroom in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), among other facilities.
Among the projects that have been completed is the main theater of the hospital, which was inaugurated in 1999.
The center provides medical care to patients from the entire Holguin province, and from regions in eastern, central and western Cuba in some medical specialties.
