Cuban Ballet Dancers to Perform Abroad
Monday, November 13, 2017

Havana.- Several prominent dancers from the National Ballet of Cuba will work with foreign companies in the next few weeks.

That is the case of prima ballerina Sadaise Arencibia and her partner, Raúl Abreu, who will perform in the Week of Dance at the International Festival of the Historic Heart of the City of Campeche.

For her part, prima ballerina Grettel Morejón will be the main dancer in the world premiere of Romeo and Juliet, a version by Jimmy Gamonet, a choreographer and the director of the National Ballet of Peru.

In addition, Yankiel Vázquez and Adrián Sánchez will be the guest dancers during the season of the Nutcracker by Interamericana Producciones in Costa Rica.

Rafael Quenedit and Chanell Cabrera were invited to dance the Nutcracker in Texas, the United States, with the company Quenedit Dance Theatre.
