Havana.- The Hotel La Calesa, in the city of Trinidad, in central Cuba, will be inaugurated soon as part of the Encanto (E) brand.
The establishment will start up operations during the peak tourist season and will be a new attraction in the city, which was declared Humankind's Cultural Heritage in 1988 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
After the hotel opens, the Encanto brand, created more than a decade ago, will have five establishments, after the Palacio Azul Hotel was inaugurated in Cienfuegos.
Construction works started in December 2016 to remodel the building occupied by La Calesa in the third of seven villages founded by the Spanish conquistadors in Cuba.
Tourist facilities of the E brand have a small number of rooms, are located downtown and offer high-quality services.
