Havana.- Cuban experts are promoting psychoballet as a psychotherapeutic-cultural method with great benefits for patients.
According to specialists, that procedure has led to positive results in some 26 Cuban patients, including children and adults.
In that regard, they recalled that the method has contributed to the rehabilitation, cure and social reinsertion of individuals with special mental, motor and sensorial needs.
At present, they are working on a community project called Art and Life for a culture of peace, with collaboration from the Office of the City Historian and Houses of Culture.
Psychoballet incorporates senior citizens, as well as pregnant women with high obstetric risks, into creative activities and a healthy lifestyle.
