Havana.- The portfolio of investments being promoted by Cuban economic authorities consists of 456 projects totaling more than 10.7 billion dollars.
Those initiatives include 156 new options, which are estimated at nearly three billion dollars altogether.
In addition, 50 business opportunities are promoted in the Mariel Special Development Zone (ZEDM), while tourism offers 152 options.
A novelty is the introduction of new projects in the sector of culture to diversify and expand the export markets.
The banking sector incorporated insurances into the portfolio, while the sectorial policy in the hydraulic sector has been expanded to boost infrastructural development.
