Havana.- The partial register of runners who will compete in Havana's International Marathon (Marabana) currently totals 4,051 confirmed participants.
Marabana General Director Carlos Gattorno informed that 849 runners are foreigners from more than 52 countries, but that number is expected to increase in the next few days.
So far, the most represented countries in the race are the United States, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Uruguay, France and Cuba.
Gattorno added that all 337 runners registered to run the marathon will compete for the prize to be granted by Air France.
As a unique element, he noted the participation of more than 100 runners over 65 years of age, so it will be an excellent preliminary to the 7th International Convention on Physical Activity and Sports.
