New Neonatology Services in Eastern Cuba |

Havana.- The Vladimir Ilich Lenin Hospital in the eastern Cuban province of Holguin will benefit soon from the services of the Neonatology Intensive Care Unit.
According to experts, that facility will treat seriously-ill newborns admitted in the province's largest hospital.
As part of works, the unit's capacity will increase to 40 beds in intensive and intermediate therapy, and the isolation cubicle.
The new facility will have an X-ray department, laboratory, teaching areas and a rest area for doctors and residents on duty.
The service was conceived with all requirements of isolation, air conditioning and asepsis needed to treat newborns, thus its positive impact for public health.
