Cuban Companies Win National Quality Award |

Havana.- Cuban construction companies won the National Quality Award, as an acknowledgement of their excellent work in the development of projects.
The award, sponsored by the National Standardization Office, was granted to the companies Proyectos de Arquitectura e Ingeniería in Villa Clara, Havana and Matanzas.
The acknowledgement took into consideration the evaluation of 16 projects.
The first companies to win the award in 1999 were Teléfonos Celulares de Cuba S.A. and Proyectos y Consultoría Ocho in Matanzas.
In 2015, the award went to Diseño Ciudad Habana and Registro Cubano de Buques, both based in the Cuban capital, and the Lazaro Peña cigarette factory in eastern Holguin province.
