Experts Predict Increased Tourist Arrivals in United Kingdom |

London.- The tourist sector in the United Kingdom is expected to receive 39.7 million foreign holidaymakers in 2017, accounting for an increase of 6 percent compared to last year.
Experts predicted that tourists' expenditures will total 29 billion euros, which represent a 14-percent rise in contrast to 2016.
They added that the decline of the pound sterling after the Brexit victory (exit from the European Union) has promoted the leisure industry.
Tourist executives pointed out that tourism contributes nearly 140 billion euros to the national economy, in addition to generating thousands of jobs.
It should be said that in 2015, the government implemented a program to boost tourism and invested 45 million euros.
