Meliá Reactivates Hotels on Cuba's North Keys

Havana.- The Spanish group Meliá Hotels International is putting the finishing touches on the reactivation of its establishments on Cuba's north keys.

The company pointed out that in a short term, it will resume operations in its hotels on Cayo Santa María, Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo and the northern tip of Varadero.

The temporary closure of Meliá's hotels affected by Hurricane Irma has allowed making improvement in the facilities, as a result of which new products will be launched during the peak tourist season.

In the case of Varadero, the hotels Meliá Peninsula Varadero and Paradisus Varadero are already operational in October, while Meliá Cayo Santa María and Meliá Las Dunas will reopen on November 1.

In addition, the Meliá Buenavista and Sol Cayo Santa María will resume operations on November 15, as well as Sol Cayo Guillermo, in Jardines del Rey (King's Gardens).
