Academic Collaboration between Cuba and the United States |

Havana.- Academic collaboration is among the actions being taken by educational institutions in Cuba and the United States to consolidate exchanges in the field of research.
In that regard, the Jose Marti Perez University of Sancti Spiritus and the Lehman College Bronx, in Nueva York, have signed a cooperation agreement.
The initiative aims to favor joint research works between professors and students from pre-grade and post-grade courses.
They are expected to work on topics related to the History of the Latino and Caribbean Community in the United States, and Race and Gender issues.
The projects are designed for different periods, with a first phase consisting of a scientific research by professors and students from the two universities.
