Cruise Tourism Focuses on Cuba
Monday, October 9, 2017

Havana.- Cruise tourism maintains its interest in Cuban destinations, with programs by shipping companies that have access to ports in the island nation.

U.S. companies like Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean will continue to operate in Cuba, taking into consideration that the country is a safe tourist destination.

Carnival informed that none of more than 475 U.S. holidaymakers who traveled to Cuba reported health problems this year.

Domestic movements are handled by Cubana de Aviación, Aerocaribbean and Aerogaviota, in addition to the services provided by seven international marinas: Marina Hemingway in Havana, Dársena de Varadero, Gaviota Varadero, Gaviota Holguín and Marlin Santiago.

Other marinas are Marlin Cienfuegos and Marlin Cayo Largo del Sur, in addition to three cruise terminals in Havana, Santiago de Cuba and Cienfuegos.
