Monday, October 9, 2017

Havana.- Cuba offers facilities where holidaymakers can enjoy thermal and mineral waters, as part of an option that combines tourism with health care.

The Caribbean island has some 1,400 springs with thermal facilities that provide services to domestic and foreign tourists.

The list of establishments includes San Vicente and Soroa, in Pinar del Río; Elguea, in central Villa Clara province; and San José de los Lagos, north of Sancti Spiritus.

Other springs are San Diego de los Baños, also in Pinar del Río, and Ciego Montero, in Cienfuegos, which are run by Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos S.A.
