Cuban Audiovisual Material Supports UNICEF |

Monday, October 9, 2017
Havana.- The Cuban documentary "Soy Papá… de Cualquier Manera" (I'm a Daddy… in Any Way), made by the Palomas Project, will support the Early Moments Matter campaign, launched by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
The audiovisual material, directed by Lizette Vila and Ingrid León, tells ten stories about the way of being and thinking about biological and biographic paternity in Cuba.
The documentary shows that in Cuba, men have a lower life expectancy and a higher mortality rate in relation to women.
It should be said that the UNICEF's Early Moments Matter campaign encourages parents to play an active role in the development of their children.
The Palomas Project, attached to the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC), was created and directed by Vila in 2002, as an audiovisual production house to boost social activism.
