Increased Transactions Involving Houses and Vehicles in Cuba |

Havana.- Cuba's notarial services have increased in terms of transactions involving the buying and selling of houses and vehicles from January to date.
According to official statistics, between January and August 2017, more than 36,000 real estate buying and selling contracts were authorized in Cuba, a substantial increase since April.
In that regard, experts recalled that since April, a referential value to calculate taxes for those actions was established.
During that period, a discrete increase in the buying and selling of vehicles was reported, accounting for approximately 15,000 contracts.
In the first nine months of this year, notaries attended to one million individual and legal entities and provided more than 75,000 consults in the country's 251 notary's offices.
