New Medical Equipment for Cuba's Healthcare Sector |

Havana.- The installation of new medical equipment has improved healthcare services in Cuba by facilitating accurate and timely diagnoses of several diseases.
In that regard, the polyclinic in Banes, in eastern Holguin province, benefited from the installation of a modern X-ray apparatus that is the only one of its kind in that municipality.
After two months in operation, more than 100 patients have been diagnosed after undergoing complex tests there, so they do not have to travel to other provinces to be screened.
In order to develop that service, the polyclinic has the necessary resources, including an X-ray table and a computer connected to the equipment, among others.
The new equipment benefits the residents in the areas covered by 13 family doctor's offices linked to that medical center.
