Experts Predict Increase in International Tourism |

Madrid.- Experts have predicted an estimated growth of 4.5-5 percent in international tourism in 2017 in terms of vacationers.
According to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), from January to June, 598 million holidaymakers traveled the world.
The agency noted major achievements in the Middle East (9 percent), Europe and Africa (8 percent each), Asia and the Pacific (6 percent).
Experts recalled that during the first semester of 2017, 46 percent of vacationers traveled to other countries, while the second half of the year includes the peak tourist season in the northern hemisphere.
The UNWTO highlighted the considerable recuperation of destinations like Turkey, Egypt and Tunisia.
