Cuba Protects Musical Heritage
Monday, September 18, 2017

Havana.- Cuban cultural authorities are working on the design of actions to preserve the country's musical heritage for the new generations.

The National Museum of Music, which holds the largest collection of music of all times, genres and styles, is working on that direction.

According to experts, the museum has documents of high cultural value related to classic and popular music.

It also has artworks, equipment to play back recordings and furniture linked to Cuba's musical universe.

It should be said that phonograms and musical instruments like the guitars of Sindo Garay and Teresita Fernandez are well preserved, as well as Bola de Nieve's piano.
