Medicinal Waters in Central Cuba
Monday, September 11, 2017

Havana.- The spa Elguea, in the central Cuban province of Villa Clara, combines leisure with the benefit from its medicinal waters.

According to experts, the local water and mud contain high concentrations of chlorine, sodium, magnesium and bromine, and low contents of radon and sulfur.

Generally, those minerals are recommended to treat stress and respiratory, circulatory, neurological and osteo-muscular problems.

Since late 1979, a hotel offers 100 rooms and conditions to develop health tourism.

Visitors to Elguea can also enjoy beauty services and treatments to improve their quality of life in general.
