Havana Cigars and Rum on Cuba's Economic Agenda
Monday, September 11, 2017

Havana.- The agenda of the specialized event sponsored by Casa del Habano Partagás in 2017 will include a visit to the Don Pancho aging plant at the Santiago de Cuba rum factory.

The facility produces several kinds of rums, which are processed with a selection of eau-de-vie, successive mixtures of the aged base, and traditional and natural aging in white oak barrels.

On this occasion, some 350 delegates from Germany, Canada, China, Spain, Grand Cayman, the United States, Finland, France, Italy, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Colombia are expected to participate in the meeting.

Participants will enjoy their favorite Havana cigars, accompanied by world-famous Cuban rums and coffee, and will visit places of historic and cultural interest.

The list of famous visitors at Casa Partagás includes the world-renowned French actor Gerard Depardieu and the U.S. actors Matt Dillon, Jack Nicholson, Whoopi Goldberg and Michael Douglas, as well as Jeremy Irons, from the United Kingdom.
