More International Tourists Visit Chile |

Santiago, Chile.- Chile's tourist destinations received 3,344,340 international vacationers in the first semester of 2017.
Local tourist authorities pointed out that this trend shows a steady growth of 17.9 percent, compared to the same period in 2016.
That way, official estimates show that 6.7 million tourists will visit Chile this year, accounting for an increase of 19.6 percent.
If those predictions are fulfilled, the number of tourists would have doubled over the past six years.
Of the total number of vacationers, 1.9 million came from Argentina, accounting for a year-by-year increase of 27.6 percent, followed by 200,000 Brazilian tourists.
