Investments Benefit Cuban Rum Factory |

Havana.- The Santa Cruz rum factory, in western Cuba, is implementing a broad program of investments to increase production.
Efforts focus on the assembly of a structure in the distillery and the processing of water to produce fresh rum.
In that regard, the National Standardization Office ONN) and Lloyds Register have certified the quality of production for export.
In addition to the domestic production of white rums, the plant exports more than 25,000 liters of rum to Europe.
The factory consists of eight Grassroots Entrepreneurial Units (UEB), including power generation, the distillery (to produce rum and recover carbon dioxide) and sales.
