Vaccines against Seasonal Influenza to Be Administered in Cuba |

Havana.- Cuba's healthcare system will launch the Vaccination Campaign against Seasonal Influenza, during which more than one million doses will be administered.
According to authorities from the sector, the immunization will benefit children aged six months to two years, as well as all pregnant women.
In addition, the campaign will include people over 75 years of age, and those institutionalized in elderly homes, senior citizen's houses and psycho-pedagogical centers.
The vaccine will also be administered to people, aged 18 to 24, who are suffering from chronic renal insufficiency, asthma and diabetes I, as well patients with cerebral palsy and cystic fibrosis.
The campaign is aimed at reducing serious morbility caused by influenza and mortality by pneumonia in specific groups of society.
