New Food-Processing Plant in Western Cuba |

Havana.- Executives from Empresa Productora y Comercializadora de Productos Biofarmacéuticos (LABIOFAM) are weighing the construction of a food-processing plant in western Cuba.
The facility would be built in Matanzas province and would produce 9,000 liters a day of probiotic yogurt, which would come in nine presentations to meet the demands from clients.
The yogurt would be commercialized under the brand Paraiso and would come in containers of 1.5 and five liters, as well as minidoses.
The Paraiso yogurt is a nutritional food that contains live organisms and is one of the leading products of the entrepreneurial group LABIOFAM.
