Group Gaviota to Increase Operations in Varadero |

Havana.- The Group Gaviota will increase its operation in Varadero, Cuba's major coastal resort, where it will open more establishments.
The company currently runs 14 hotels, totaling 9,600 rooms, in that resort, where it plans to add 4,000 rooms distributed into two establishments.
The new hotels will be located in the area known as Oasis, and are part of a project that also includes a marine promenade and the recovery of the beach by injecting sand.
Moreover, the group is weighing the construction of the Hotel Las Nubes on a key near Varadero. The 24-story hotel will offer 564 rooms. Gaviota will also remodel the Parador Las Sirenas.
The Group Gaviota also runs a marina with more than 1,000 piers and boats of different kinds, as well as a travel agency and a transportation company.
