International Chess Tournament in Varadero |

Havana.- Varadero Beach, in the western Cuban province of Matanzas, will host the 52nd Capablanca in Memoriam Chess Tournament.
According to organizers, players from two dozen countries, including Ukraine's Vasily Ivanchuk, the top winner of the tournament with six trophies, are expected to compete in the event.
The competition will be held in the elite, open and children-school categories at the Barceló Solymar Arenas Blancas Hotel.
The elite group will be made up of Grand Masters (GM) Emilio Córdova (Peru), Krishnan Sasikiran (India), Samuel L. Shankland (United States), Kacper Piorun (Poland) and Isan Ortiz (Cuba).
As part of the tournament, a Course for Coaches will be taught with the presence of Grand Master Marta Fierro, vice president of the International Chess Federation.
