RIU Consolidates Positions in Jamaica
Monday, May 15, 2017

Kingston.- The Spanish group RIU Hotels and Resorts has consolidated its positions in Jamaica, where it administers six establishments.

The company was also the first international hotel chain to operate in the country with the RIU Palace Tropical Bay, and it currently runs more than 3,000 rooms.

In addition, it is one of the company's best offers in the Caribbean, only preceded by its hotels in Mexico (17 hotels and 9,265 rooms) and the Dominican Republic (8 hotels and 5,322 rooms).

RIU's latest opening was in Montego Bay, where it inaugurated the RIU Reggae Hotel in late 2016, combined with the RIU Montego Bay, which opened in 2007 and offers 681 rooms, and the RIU Palace Jamaica.

Altogether, the three hotels of the Spanish group in Montego Bay offer 13 restaurants and 13 bars.
