International Forum on Mental Sports in Cuba |

Havana.- The province of Camagüey, in the eastern part of the island, will host the International Conference on Mental Sports (CIDEM-2017).
According to the organizers, the forum will be attended by specialists from Mexico, the United States, Iran, Turkey and Spain, as well as the hosts.
Sponsored by the Sports Institute in Camagüey, the event will host an extensive scientific program that includes the inaugural conference of the General Secretary of the International Association of Mental Sports, Thomas Hsiang.
Exchanges are also expected between practitioners of modalities like Wei Qi, and exponents of the Go Cuban Academy.
In addition to this, there will be exhibitions of scrabble, bridge, fast chess, blitz and checkers of 64 and 100 squares, among other activities related to the sport.
