Tourist Facilities in Holguin Restored |

Havana.- The province of Holguín, in the eastern part of the island, has improved the infrastructure for tourism after an extensive program of rehabilitation of its facilities.
The territory, home of the next edition of the International Tourism Fair (FitCuba), assumed jobs that allowed the use of existing capacities.
In that regards, rooms are more comfortable in the hotels Brisas Guardalavaca and Club Amigo Atlántico, belonging to the Cubanacán Group; as well as in El Bosque, Pernik and Miraflores, in Islazul.
Added to this were facilities such as a swimming pool at Playa Blanca Popular Camping, the Gibara Bay pier and a jacuzzi at the Brisas Guardalavaca hotel.
At present, this tourist destination has 5,440 rooms in 20 hotels, 50 percent of which are of four-star establishments, 25 are standard five stars and a similar number are three-star hotels.
