New Health Service in Eastern Cuban Region |

Havana.- The Cuban province of Holguín, in the eastern part of the island, will have a multi-traumas service that will be located in the Hospital Lucía Íñiguez.
This option will favor those patients of the specialties of orthopedics, traumatology and neurosurgery, as part of the actions to raise the quality in medical care.
For these procedures, four operating rooms, one emergent intensive care unit for seven patients and external consultations will be enabled.
A dynamic testing process is currently under way with the purpose of verifying the functioning of the equipment and sterility conditions in the surgical areas.
This investment is part of the program of improvements of the health services of the territory, which also includes the expansion of spaces in several health care centers.
