Cuban Cyclist Wins the San Juan Tour in Argentina |

Havana.- Cuban Cyclist Marlies Mejías, of Weber Shimano Ladies Power Club, won the San Juan Cycling Tour in Argentina.
The victory of the Cuban athlete was preceded by her success in the First Uruguay Feminine Circuit, where she won four of the five stages foreseen.
In the Argentinean event, Mejías attained the four phases set for roads and circuits in that province of the South American country.
The second place was for Maribel Aguirre and in the general standings ended Mercedes Fadiga, both from Argentina.
Aside from Mejías, the Cuban cycling tied down contracts with from Italian clubs with Cubans Arlenis Sierra e Iraida García, as part of the that sport´s development strategy.
