Good Coffee Harvest in Eastern Cuba |

Havana.- The province of Santiago de Cuba, the largest producer of coffee on the island, intensifies actions to ensure the successful closure of the grain harvest.
The campaign shows a level of execution of 95 percent, while the municipalities of Contramaestre and Guama exceed each one hundred percent.
Santiago de Cuba also successfully completed the campaign to collect the variety of Arabica coffee by achieving 103-percent compliance.
Before the closure of the harvest, efforts are concentrated in the mountainous areas of Tercer Frente, Palma Soriano and Segundo Frente.
It should be noted that the total sales of coffee for both export and domestic consumption are met, and 81 percent of the quality grain is delivered to the processor.
