Cardiovascular Program in Central Cuba |

Havana.- The Sancti Spiritus province, in the central area of the island, served as headquarters to the Regional Workshop on Preventive Cardiology and Cardiovascular Rehabilitation.
In the meeting the rehabilitation of patients with not only heart disease but cardiovascular ailments as a whole were highlighted.
Additional work in training of professionals to bring this program to the various municipalities of the territory is being carried out.
In that direction highlights the extent of rehabilitation protocols in patients with stable heart failure, peripheral vascular diseases and other complex conditions.
The agenda of the meeting included presentations on topics related to cardiovascular disease and secondary prevention, hypertension and current challenges.
