New Award for Cuban Film Conduct |

Havana.- Cuban film Conduct, by director Ernesto Daranas, reached the top prize in the category of fiction in the Insularia-Islands Network Festival.
According to the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC), the work was well received by the public and critics at the meeting which was held in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
The edition of the event -with an integrational will of audiovisual production from islands all over the planet- was dedicated to Cuba as a guest country.
The agenda included the tribute to Cuban filmmaker Julio García Espinosa, and an exhibition of Cuban posters and a tribute to the International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de los Baños.
Conduct won the award for Best Film at the Latin American Film Festival of Huelva and was one of five candidates for the Goya for Best Latin American Film.
