Havana.- Cuban Osleni Guerrero, badminton leading figure on the island, is included in the elite level of that discipline in the Americas.
The representative of Caribbean island accumulates 22,780 points and occupies the 67th position in the world ranking.
Guerrero is surpassed on the continent only by Guatemalan Kevin Cordon (55th), American Howard Shu (63) and Brazilian Ygor Coelho de Oliveira (64).
In addition to attending the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the current season the Cuban adds three titles, including that managed in the International Tournament of Chile, last April.
He also won the gold medal in the contest of Guatemala, last February, and the Giraldilla of Havana, held in late March.
