Visitors Attracted by Cuban Heritage Values
Monday, August 29, 2016

Havana.- The province of Sancti Spiritus, in central Cuba, holds in the Mayor Parish Church one of its main heritage attractions for visitors.

The bell tower of the property has three cubic bodies that decrease slightly in width and ostensibly in height and at one point became the highest of its type in the Greater Antilles.

With an initial height of 40 meters, the steeple of the famous Temple of the Holy Spirit has 86 steps made with precious woods and about 30 meters now.

Visitors that ascend to the top have access to the option of observing the territory of the province and the huge church bells.

It also has a clock which dates from 1911, although the first such device was placed in 1771 thanks to a collect made by the population.
