Havana.- The Pinar del Rio-based Electronic Components Company, in western Cuba, added new items to its portfolio of products.
The company took on the manufacture of luminaires with LED technology, which enable significant energy savings by consuming only half than the traditional method.
Company executives said they expect to close 2016 with the delivery of 200,000 units, with Chinese technology and adapted to Cuban standards.
In addition, its production lines stand in charge of photovoltaic modules for power injection to the National Electric System and induction cookers.
It also ensures other important areas as protectors of refrigeration equipment, computer power supplies (UPS) and water treatment plants.
