Underwater Tourism in Cuban Depths

Havana.- The Cuban island has a wide range of areas for scuba diving and snorkeling, converted into limelight of thousands of tourists every year.

According to industry authorities on the island more than 500 dive sites with underwater scenery, exotic corners, caves, vertical walls and tunnels are identified.

In addition, periodically they organize underwater photography events in different parts of the coast and the island platform, taking advantage of the well-preserved beauties, climate and appropriate infrastructure.

Among the most attractive points include the Isla de la Juventud and Cayo Largo, Maria la Gorda, in Pinar del Rio, the North coast of Havana, Varadero and its artificial underwater park.

Also, the Zapata Peninsula for cave diving, as well as the coastal areas of Cienfuegos, exhibiting among it wonders coral Notre Dame, with six meters high.
