Improvements for Health Care Infrastructure in Cuba

Havana.- Health services in the province of Granma, in the eastern part of the island, improved the infrastructure devoted to the care of the population.

In that direction highlights the reopening of the guardhouse and the intermediate therapy room of the teaching hospital Carlos Manuel de Cespedes, most important in the area.

The first of these services to be applied was the emergency services and medical emergency consultations of otolaryngology, ophthalmology, urology and maxillofacial plus a multipurpose observation room.

According to experts, the referred center in the last four years has achieved improvements in neurosurgery wards, intensive care and medical intermediate, orthopedics, burns and chemotherapy.

In addition, the completion of various spaces is expected, including breast milk bank, motherhood bathrooms and ecological incinerator.
