Havana.- Resort of San Diego de los Baños, in the western province of Pinar del Rio, benefits from a recovery program of its facilities.
In a first phase, began in 2014 the rehabilitation of a section of the thermal area with three pools and seven individual bathrooms, plus a hotel.
During 2016 the work continued in a second section of bathrooms, similar to that which already works in an effort to insert the institution in a tourism project.
Experts noted that the thermal baths, massage and use of medicinal mineral sludge also help to improve life quality.
Waters here have analgesic, relaxants, anti-inflammatory and healing properties, suitable for treating osteoarthritis, rheumatic and degenerative central nervous system disease.
