Havana.- Varadero, in the western province of Matanzas, will host one of the stages of the North, Central American and Caribbean (NORCECA) beach volleyball circuit.
Competitive activities will be carried out in the Hotel Barcelo Solymar Arenas Blancas Complex, same venue for the appointment last year.
Cuba will participate in the fair with the best four couples, two male and two female, to try to emulate the previous performance, which reached gold and silver medals.
Varadero is part of the NORCECA circuit, which includes a total of 18 destinations in a journey that began in March in Guatemala and ends in November in Trinidad and Tobago.
This type of event contributes to the development of the sport on the island, where several pairs have achieved outstanding performances internationally.
