Russian Kamaz Consortium Provides Greater Presence in Cuba |

Havana.- Russian Kamaz group, specialized in the manufacture of commercial vehicles, is planning to increase its operations in the island.
In this regard, a contract for the supply of vehicles, spare parts and machinery to Cuba was signed, in the context of the creation of a network of repair factories on the island.
The main objective of the project is to restore the park of the Kamaz trucks brand in the Caribbean nation and even the assembly of up to 1,000 trucks a year.
These operations are conducted on an equal footing with the Cuban state corporation Gesime and are currently selecting a site for the plant.
This will be the fifth Kamaz factory abroad, as it already has facilities in Kazakhstan, India, Vietnam and Lithuania.
