Speedboats Link Cuba and the United States |

Havana.- The Florida-Havana speedboats rally brought together 17 boats and 85 crew members who restored the link after 58 years of absence.
The initiative was organized by the Florida Powerboat Club and
Ernest Hemingway International Club of Cuba, as part of actions to strengthen ties between the two countries.
The speedboats covered the route between Key West and Havana in two hours, with an average speed of 55 miles per hour.
For the remainder of 2016 other 18 boats competitions are scheduled, both sail and motor, arranged at the Hemingway Club and departure also from Florida.
In the actions highlights the attempt to break the record in motor boating from Miami to Havana, in order to reach it in less than an hour.
