Havana.- The island’s tourism promotes recreational boating mode, in order to address the dynamic increase of this activity in the short term.
The Marlin S.A group has seven investment projects, of which three are subject to a bidding process in the coming months.
According to experts, we have already received several offers for the extension of the current Nautical Base Tarara, east of Havana, with the aim of turning it into a marina with capacity to assimilate 250 berths.
Meanwhile, the International Varadero Darsena added new mooring positions, while the base project of Saint Lucia also includes a real estate development and golf course.
Also, the creation of a marina in the Bay of Banes, in the tourist resort of Guardalavaca, while they currently negotiate with a German company a management contract service with funding to expand the Marina Cienfuegos.
