Cuban Sport with 85 Seats to Rio de Janeiro-2016

Havana.- Cuban sports rose to 85 athletes qualified for the Olympic fair of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), after achieving the quota in various disciplines.

Among the most recent additions include Yoandry Iriarte (fencing), Andy Pereira and Jorge Campos Moses (table tennis), Randy Leru and Marcia Videaux (artistic gymnastics)

To date, the list of those who will be in the appointment integrate athletics (14 men and the same number of women), boxing (nine), fight (five in Greco-Roman type and the same amount in Free style), shooting sports and rowing.

Other sports are men's volleyball (12), modern pentathlon, cycling, taekwondo, boating and gymnastics with world runner-up Manrique Larduet.

Experts said several seats are pending in badminton, judo, road cycling, beach volleyball, swimming, weightlifting and archery.
