Havana.- Cuba's health system promotes the use of options of natural and traditional medicine, with a view to improving the quality of life of the population.
In this direction, the Eastern Pharmaceutical Laboratory (LFO) expects to sell this year Mentisan lozenges, made from domestic inputs.
The formula may be used in sore throats, nasal congestion and halitosis, and obtained from four bioactive pharmaceutical substances such as eugenol essential oil of eucalyptus, menthol, and thymol.
Moreover, among natural medicines there are the Lecisan, used to lower cholesterol and blood triglycerides.
There are also the Vimang tablets, analgesic, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, Anamú, immunostimulant, and Viprol, natural antibiotic for the treatment of giardia.
