Ancient Music in Havana

Havana.- The Cuban capital will host the eleventh edition of Esteban Salas Ancient Music Festival, with the presence of artists from Latin America, Europe and the United States.

The event, organized by the Office of the Historian of the City, will host Cuban group Ars Longa, in addition to the Eternal Music Orchestra and the Baroque of the National School of Music, as well as the Early Music Ensemble Ars Nova, Ensemble Lauda, Exaudi choir, Ensemble Vocal Luna and Meridionalis, among other exponents.

The event will also bring together the soprano Valentina Marghinotti and Alfredo Bernardini, from Italy, François Dolmetsch (England), David Gomez (Colombia), Kathleen McIntosh (United States) and Susanne Ehrhardt, Ulrike Theresia Wegele, Claudia and Martin Rost Gerauer (Germany).

The event's agenda also includes workshops, conferences, lectures, and exchanges between teachers and young students.
