Havana.- Varadero, the main destination of sun and beach on the island, added Hotel Las Conchas II to its accommodation services.
The facility has 430 rooms on 23 residential buildings and two main buildings, plus recreational facilities.
The beginning of operations in the center matches the tourist season peak, with its traditional increased flow of visitors to the different Cuban destinations.
Varadero already reached for the eighth consecutive year one million international vacationers and expects to end December with 1.3 million tourists.
Furthermore, options other than hotels grow, with current works on proposals such as a water park and the Torre de Cristal, intended for climbing.
