Improvements in Optical Services for Eastern Cuba |

Havana.- The health system in the province of Camagüey, in the eastern part of the island, at this time works to improve optical services to benefit the population.
According to experts, the aim is to eliminate waiting lists and delays in making eyeglasses and contact lenses to those in need.
For this purpose the maintenance of technological equipment, together with the acquisition of inputs for making lenses, carved and bifocals are needs taken care of.
The addition of a new technology to improve finished product quality and reduce the delays in deliveries it’s also programmed.
Nowadays the carving is done with mineral or glass raw material, although changes are expected in the preparation of known organic or plastic alternatives.
