Cuba Consolidates Health Infrastructure |

Havana.- Cuba's health system has an infrastructure capable of providing most of the goods and services needed to operate efficiently.
Along with that, there are noticeable conditions to integrate these activities with the country´s exportable supply thanks to the international reputation of health care on the island.
Besides, the BioCubaFarma initiative is working and integrates 32 companies and 78 production facilities, where eight vaccines and 578 medicines of various kinds are manufactured.
Other leading products are Recombinant Humana Erythropoietin, Heberprot-P and treatment for tumors of the head, neck and lung vaccines (Nimotuzumab, Cimavax EGF or Racotumomab).
Specialists nowadays conduct research on 33 infectious diseases, the same number of oncological diseases, 18 in the cardiovascular area and seven in diabetes, among other conditions.
